Window cleaning becomes an important subject at this time of year. The sun starts to shine and it shows up all of the smears and marks that the bad weather was hiding.
I am often asked what is the best frequency to have windows cleaned and it varies hugely on your location. In built up areas with a lot of passing traffic, I advise having a monthly clean with internals being cleaned on a quarterly basis. If there is no passing traffic the windows should be cleaned bi monthly or quarterly depending on the types of visitors that you get on site. If it is a prestigious office with many high profile visitors, it may be worth having them done on a monthly basis no matter what the location.
Ensure that the operatives are using a safe method (reach and wash systems are preferred) and that they carry out a risk assessment before starting the work.
