Welcome to the Brayborne Blog!

As we celebrate our 25 year anniversary we have been thinking back to all of the high points since we started. Some fantastic contract wins, amazing growth, being awarded investors in people in 2005, the list goes on….

They say that from little acorns mighty oak trees grow! Simon Berryman, Managing Director, began the company working from his own home in 1986 doing one off kitchen, high level and builders cleaning. Simon’s reputation for getting the job done well and being a “good bloke” to deal with soon spread.  The business expanded meaning that new premises were necessary so he moved the company in 1989 to a unit on a pig farm in Winkfield!

As Brayborne went from strength to strength the company outgrew these offices and moved to Longshot Lane in Bracknell in 1991. We continued to expand and develop from the business that it used to be to the high profile daily office cleaning business that it is today.  We finally moved to our present day offices in The Metro Centre, Wokingham in 2003. The company has grown from 2 to over 1000 employees with a portfolio of clients covering a wide radius across the South of England.

As a relatively new member to the Brayborne team (and one of the only men, besides Simon, in an office full of women!), I will cover many different topics; some relevant to the contract cleaning industry and others that will give you an insight into everyday life at Brayborne.
