The Late Simon Berryman
Founder

Simon founded Brayborne in 1986 having held various positions prior to this with other companies in the industry. Simon was a very popular man throughout the industry and was extremely proud to be a member of Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners. He had over 35 years experience in the cleaning sector and was a member of British Institute of Cleaning Science, and a member of the British Institute of Facilities Management. He will be best remembered for his integrity and for his commitment to always provide a high quality service to all our customers. Since 1986 Brayborne has become a very successful contract cleaning company with business across the south of England, a position that is directly attributable to Simon’s hard work, vision and leadership.

Jim Melvin
CEO

Having been in the industry previously, Jim left to pursue a career in sport.  He has now been involved for a period of 20 years. In that time he has gained significant experience and promotion rising from Branch Management to Managing Director.  Jim is a Court Assistant with the Worshipful Company of Environmental Cleaners, was judge for some year on the National Cleanability Awards, a member of BICSc, and has twice served as a Board Director for the Cleaning and Support Services Association.  H is know as being passionate about he delivery of service excellence and being very detailed in his approach to working with clients and staff. He has experience of working in many market sectors amongst which are Commercial, Media and Leisure, Retail, Public Sector, Defence and Professional Services, working alongside a great many prestigious and blue chip clients.

Lorraine Gibson
Managing Director

Lorraine was appointed as Brayborne’s Managing Director in December 2011 after being Commercial Director and brings 25 years of experience. She started with Brayborne in 1994. During this time Lorraine has gained extensive commercial and technical knowledge which she uses to ensure that company is focused on working in partnership with clients and staff alike to deliver an outstanding level of service.

Beverley Mason
Business Development Manager

Beverley joined Brayborne in 2001 from another independent cleaning company and has over 20 years experience in the cleaning industry. Highly motivated and customer focused, Beverley always ensures that she understands and meets each client’s specific requirements.

Amanda Fry
Operations Manager

Amanda has worked within the cleaning industry for 9 years and has considerable experience in contract cleaning. Working with a vast portfolio in both commercial and public sector establishments, she strives to ensure that we work in partnership with both clients and employees to provide the highest of customer service delivery. Amanda is responsible for implementing, managing and controlling strategies which enable her management team to meet the organisation’s performance plans and ensure customer satisfaction. Amanda is also a qualified BICSc Assessor, holds an NVQ Level 3 in Management and an IT NVQ Level 2.

Operations Manager

Julie has worked within the cleaning industry for 20 years and has considerable experience in contract cleaning. Working with a vast portfolio in both commercial and public sector establishments, she strives to ensure that we work in partnership with both clients and employees to provide the highest of customer service delivery. Julie is responsible for implementing, managing and controlling strategies which enable her management team to meet the organisation’s performance plans and ensure customer satisfaction.

 Paul Williamson

Paul Williamson
Specialist Manager

Paul joined Brayborne in August 2016, with 29 years hands-on experience working within the contract cleaning Industry.  Paul has an outstanding knowledge of cleaning both through formal training and experience and is able to provide solutions for a wide range of tasks. Paul manages and motivates the specialist team to ensure that best value is achieved for our clients.

Chris

Chris Freshwater
HR Manager

Chris joined Brayborne in 1996, initially responsible for recruitment and payroll. As the company expanded, Chris developed the Human Resources department, providing advice and support to the management team and staff. As HR Manager, Chris is responsible for all company policies and procedures as well as staff welfare, training and development.
